What to expect from your Austrian Alps Adventure!

Day by day itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival & Welcome in Munich → St. Anton
Arrive together in Munich and meet your group before boarding a scenic train to St. Anton. Check into your hotel, settle in, and enjoy a relaxed welcome evening with an overview of the exciting ski days ahead.

 

Day 2 to Day 7 – Ski the Arlberg

Ski the Arlberg – the cradle of alpine skiing! The villages of St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben, Lech, Zürs, Warth, Schröcken, Klösterle, and Pettneu, each with their own charm and unique character, come together to form a magnificent ski region where a wealth of blue and red runs are designed for intermediate skiers. The Arlberg is also a haven for experienced skiers, offering some of Europe’s finest lift-served off-piste skiing. From steep chutes to snow-filled bowls, there’s plenty of off-piste terrain to discover including the famed Valluga. Ski Arlberg has a couple of ski safari routes including ‘The Run of Fame’ and the ‘White (Weisse) Ring’

 

Day 8 – St. Anton → Munich & City Experience
Check out of your hotel and take the train back to Munich. After checking into your hotel, enjoy a guided afternoon tour of the city, ending in a traditional beer hall with delicious Bavarian food and a lively atmosphere.

 

Day 9 – Departure from Munich
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departure. Say goodbye to an incredible ski week full of adventure, new friendships, and unforgettable memories—and start dreaming about returning again next year for another alpine experience.

A deposit of €850 per person for double occupancy (=1,700€) or €1,050 for single occupancy is required to confirm your booking.

Price & Inclusions & Exclusions

  • Total Price of the trip is
    • 5,695 € per person in a double room with double occupancy
    • For single occupancy a supplement of 1,300 € gets applied (6,995€).
  • For all registrations prior to the 15th of May 2026 a 5 % discount gets applied. Total price for all registrations before 15th of May 2026 will be 5,410 € per person for double occupancy, and a single occupancy supplement of 1,235 €.
  • The trip includes:
    • All 4**** accommodation including daily breakfast and dinner
    • First class Rail travel between Munich and St. Anton
    • Airport transfers on arrival and departure days
    • All Ski passes for St. Anton / Arlberg
    • Certified Ski Guides for St. Anton (max. 5 guests per group)

  • The trip excludes:

2        Booking & Payment

  • Deposit of 15% (850€ per person for double occupancy, 1,050 € for singly occupancy) to confirm the booking is required at time of reservation.
  • Remaining balance is due 60 days prior to departure and will be automatically charged to the credit card used for the deposit payment
  • Bookings made within 60 days require full payment at the time of booking
  • Quote is in Euro. USD prices are for reference.

3        Cancellation Policy

3.1     Cancellation Fees

  • Deposit payment is non-refundable
  • More than 60 days before departure: deposit retained
  • 60 – 45 days before the trip: 50 % of the trip cost;
  • 45 – 30 days before the trip: 75 % of the trip cost;
  • Less than 30 days before the trip: 100% of the trip cost.

If Rail Escape must cancel the trip because of operational reasons, the deposit payment as well as any other payments made will get refunded.

4        Changes & Amendments

  • Rail Escape reserves the right to modify itinerary due to:
    • weather
    • rail disruptions
    • limitations or closures to the ski area,
    • other operational needs
  • Name changes for the participants may not be possible and must be requested individually with Rail Escape. A service fee might apply.

5        Minimum Group Size

  • A minimum group size of 10 people is required.
  • Rail Escape reserves the right to cancel the trip, when the minimum group size is not met. A full refund to the client will be done in this case.

6        Ski specific Terms

6.1     Ski conditions & weather

  • No guarantee of snow conditions or other weather conditions
  • Resorts may close lifts due to weather/wind
  • No compensation for weather disruptions
  • In case of weather disruptions, Rail Escape tries to offer an alternative but cannot guarantee this.

6.2     Ski Ability

  • Clients are responsible for choosing appropriate ski levels
  • No liability if participant cannot ski safely
  • No refund if activities cannot be completed

6.3     Equipment Rental

  • Rail Escape only mediates between the participants and the rentals. Ski rental is not included in the package.
  • Responsibility for damages and loss is up to the participant and the respective rental provider under their terms and conditions.

6.4     conditions of the Participants & exclusions

  • Clients must be physically fit for skiing
  • Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or substances while skiing. Rail Escape reserves the right to exclude participants without refund in case of misusage of these substances. Final decision is up to Rail Escape and the group leader.

6.5     Lift passes

  • Lift passes are non-refundable and non-transferable
  • Lost/stolen passes are not replaceable
  • Unused ski days are not refunded

7        Liability & Responsibility

  • Rail Escape, Where to Ski and Morgan.Global LLC assumes no liability for any accidents, injuries, or personal loss incurred by participants during the trip, except where required by applicable law.
  • Rail Escape, Where to Ski and Morgan.Global LLC is not liable for any loss, disruption, or missed services arising from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, strikes, transportation delays (including rail), resort closures, late arrivals, early departures, or missed ski days and activities.
  • Force majeure: Rail Escape, Where to Ski and Morgan.Global LLC is not liable for disruptions caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or other unforeseen circumstances

8        Insurance

8.1     Medical expenses and evacuation

  • Travel insurance for medical expenses and evacuation is mandatory.
  • At a minimum it must cover:
    • Medical expenses, including ski accidents
    • Mountain rescue
    • Medical evacuation
  • Proof of the insurance must be shown 60 days prior to the trip.

8.2     Trip cancellation insurance

  • A trip cancellation insurance or insurance for other travel related risks like plane delays, baggage lost, … is strongly recommended.

9         Travel Documents & Entry Requirements

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they meet all travel and entry requirements for the countries visited.
  • Passport validity must be a minimum of 6 months after departure.
  • See the general Rail Escape terms & conditions (https://www.railescape.com/terms-and-conditions/) under paragraph §13 for details.

10  Supplier

  • Rail Escape includes services provided by third-party suppliers such as hotels, rail operators, ski resorts, and equipment rental providers as part of the travel package.
  • These suppliers operate independently and are responsible for the proper performance of their services.
  • Rail Escape remains responsible for the proper performance of all travel services included in the package in accordance with applicable package travel law.
  • However, Rail Escape is not liable for disruptions or deficiencies caused by unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances or by the traveler.

11 Minimum Age

  • Minimum Age for participants is 18 years at date of beginning of the trip.
  • Minors can be participating in accompany of their parents. Parents take full responsibility for the kids. Participation in all ski days for minors cannot be guaranteed and has to be confirmed individually.
